Raised in the country in Tennessee, Michael learned to shoot as a youngster using a BB gun. With guidance from his great grandfather, he quickly developed a keen eye and as word of his shooting prowess spread, many of the old-timers took him along on hunts "just to see what the boy could do." When asked to put his shooting career in perspective Michael said, "I'd just like to leave my name in American history. I'd like to be remembered as one of the best exhibition shooters ever -- remembered as a good guy, as a straight shooter."
Acknowledged by the Guinness Book of World Records, Michael recruits for GOA at gun shows and events across the country.
